Helix Distortion Blocks (quick snapshots)

I just took a bunch of quick snapshots if the Helix distortion Blocks left on factory default settings.  We will Do deep dives on each one of these in future posts.  All of these frequency sweeps were done at -10dBu .

Below is the test tone:

Yep….  Just a horizontal line at -10dBu

Below is the Kinky Boost:

Screenshot 2018-01-30 14.04.21

Its just a 10-10.5 dBu Boost that starts gradually rolling off treble at around 1kHz. Its pretty clean and un distorted as shown by the smoothness of the line.  More on that later.

Notice how the line is choppy.  This generally means we have compression and/or distortion on those frequency bands. We will discuss this at length when we go in depth on each block.

Some of the next 6, which are all labeled fuzz, will yield some strange data, as a lot of these are impedance sensitive.  We will go in depth on this at a later date, but for the sake of being thorough, I will include quick sweeps of them here as well.
